Shamed for breastfeeding: this mum had the best response

Young mum Aimee Wood usually receives positive messages for sharing her breastfeeding photos online.

The 20 year old regularly posts pictures of her feeding her 7 month old baby, Nova, to her Instagram and Facebook account. They tend to be met with messages of support and encouragement from her followers, like "so much awesomeness going on here," and "nothing better than a well fell child." https://www.instagram.com/p/BWPlHTghzuZ/?taken-by=aimeewoodxxx One person, however, decided that they were unhappy with Aimee's posting habits. A stranger took to Facebook to send the mum a message, unceremoniously telling her to "put (her) f--king t-ts away." The message continued: "I've seen them every day."

"I've seen them every day. I have nothing against breastfeeding (...) but f--king hell no need for it."

The stranger even went so far as to say that Aimee's posts were "Disturbing for ur poor child when she grows up plastered all over social media sucking on your saggy nip!!!" But the young mum wasn't too fazed by the comment and responded in the best way possible. https://www.instagram.com/p/BTlr5yRBDIF/?taken-by=aimeewoodxxx Replying directly to the message, Aimme sent another photo of herself breastfeeding baby Nova. She was also holding her middle finger up to the camera. Aimee also took to Facebook to tell anybody who was bothered by her post, that "there is a block button for a reason."

"I will post 500 breastfeeding pictures a day if that's what I wish to do. This is my profile, my daughter and MY memories. I can share what I want and when I want, and if you don't want to be a part of that then so be it, you will not be missed."

The mum's post was met with hundreds of likes and support from people saying that they couldn't see why the photos were offensive, and to "ignore the haters." Aimee is due to appear on This Morning some time this week.
