Ed Sheeran’s dulcet tones come via Sesame Street today. Accompanied by his furry backing singers, legends of the screen and Street: Elmo, Grover, and Cookie Monster, the fuzzy-headed singer sings a pretty catchy tune with the gang called Two Different Worlds.
The aim of the song is not just to bring Sheeran’s beautiful voice to the masses, funnily enough, it’s to teach kids the importance of moderating their behaviour when they go to school. And if you have to listen to to Ed Sheeran to get this message across to your kids, then so be it, we say.
If you have little ones that hang onto your leg at the mention of school or playschool, then this is actually a really nifty way to shift them out the door each day.
I predict an Ed Sheeran Sesame Street family anthem coming your way. Doesn’t he just fit in so nicely with this happy-clappy gang?
