Apparently, this popular baby product is the answer to avoiding bug bites

Melissa Carton

I had no idea.

It’s great to fling the windows open and get back out into nature once the summer weather comes around. What’s not so great though is when the good weather brings with it lots and lots of bugs.

I don’t know how many times I’ve come home from the park practically eaten alive.

If you’re sick of coming home covered in tiny bites then have a root in your baby bag as it may hold the solution.

Apparently, Johnson’s baby creamy oil is fantastic at keeping the bugs at bay.

Parents in the United States swear by using it especially on young children but say that it mainly works for mosquitoes;

“It worked for my daughter who was allergic to deet and would swell huge when bite by a mosquito. I still use it. It only really works well for mosquitoes!”

I’m pretty sure there’s a tube of it in my bathroom so I’ll have to remember to take some on our next picnic and see if it really works.
