Prince William falling asleep during mass is EVERY dad who has a new baby

Jade Hayden

Gas.

Anyone who has ever experienced having a newborn baby in their immediate vicinity knows how difficult it can be.

Rewarding, but difficult.

You’re confused, you’re tired, you’re covered in milk, you’re trying to explain to your boss why you’re 25 minutes late for the eighth day in a row, you’re tired.

Did we mention you’re tired?

One new parent who’s also pretty tired is Prince William.

He and Duchess Kate recently welcomed their third child – a yet to be named baby boy.

And while the royals are undoubtedly going to have a fairly different parenting experience to us lay people, they are not immune from all of the trials and tribulations of having a newborn around.

Because Prince William struggled to keep his eyes open during mass yesterday… and we feel his pain.

Bless him.

Been there, man. Been there.

William was attending a mass in Westminister Abbey for Anzac Day service to remember the many New Zealand and Australian soldiers who died during the First World War.

William attended the service with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle and he looked fairly wrecked… so much so he could barely keep his eyes open.

Tragic.

The name of the newborn is expected to be announced any minute now.

The length of time between the birth and the name announcement has left many wondering whether Kate and Will had been unable to decide on one.

The reason for the delay, however, is most likely to be due to the fact that it was Anzac Day yesterday.
