Søstrene Grene has recalled a children’s cutlery set over breakage fears

Popular household brand Søstrene Grene has recalled a set of cutlery designed for children.

The two-piece knife and fork set, which is made of bamboo, has been recalled over fears that some small pieces could break off and get swallowed by a child. Customers who have purchased the product are advised to return it to their nearest store for a full refund. The company has said on its website:

"Søstrene Grene are hereby recalling all sold versions of the product: bamboo children’s forks with assorted designs. There is a risk of small parts breaking off the fork’s tips. In the worst case scenario, children may swallow small pieces of the fork. Customers who have purchased the forks may return them and have the purchase price refunded."
