Knackered? Yep, you NEED these 8 beauty hacks for tired eyes

Alison Bough

Tired eyes getting you down? These DIY beauty tricks will help you look wide-eyed and bushy tailed in no time (even if you feel anything BUT).

1. Make a castor oil and banana mask for under-eye bags and dark circles. Mix one banana and one teaspoon of castor oil, then mash together well. Lie down and spread a clean muslin cloth over both eyes. Spread the banana mixture over the muslin cloth and rest for 15-20 minutes.

7. Peel and grate two potatoes and squeeze to get potato juice. Dip two cotton balls in the juice and place over eyes for 20-25 minutes. Remove and wash off with cold water. Or, peel, wash and cut a potato in round slices and place on your eyelids for 15-20 minutes, then wash with cold water.

8. Gently massage the eye area. Practical Skintuition shows you how in the below video.
