New Irish family health app sounds like it’ll be a life-saver for busy parents

If you have a lot of young children, you’ll probably be more than well aware of how difficult it is to keep track of all their heath care information.

You’ve got vaccinations, checkups, nurse appointments, boosters, allergies, prescriptions… and that’s just in the first year.

It’s all a bit much really, and it can get a bit messy if you don’t keep track of it, or if you’re seeing different doctors for different members of the family, or if you’re just not the greatest at organising your bits.

No judgement.

There’s a new app though that might actually alleviate a bit of (or a lot of) the stress associated managing your family’s wellbeing and yeah, we don’t really know how we survived without it, to be honest.

The app is called Jinga and it was created by an Irish company to allow parents to take control of their family’s health, know what’s what, and keep track of an inconsistencies.

Jinga lets you input your all of family’s healthcare information including allergies, medical conditions and medications.

It also acts as a scheduler where you can keep track of vaccination appointments as well as upload prescriptions, x-rays, treatment plans and lots of other things.

Sounds handy enough, like.

Mum-of-two Helga Rohlfs said that using the app has given her “peace of mind” when it comes to planning her family’s appointments.

She said:

“I can put appointment dates in the calendar and the App will send me reminders of what’s coming up.

“I can also share this information with my GP if I wish to. It gives me one less thing to worry about and peace of mind that I have that information available whenever and wherever I may need it”.

You can learn about the app here.
