There are a number of factors that can contribute to a headache: dehydration, fatigue, alcohol, stress… the list goes on.
But it seems that your bra could also be the cause.
It has been claimed that wearing an ill-fitting or unsupportive bra can put a strain on your neck and back muscles, leading to a sore head.

Tim Allardyce, of Surrey Physio,
explained to BT: “As soon as the neck muscles become overworked, you are far more likely to get headaches (known as cervicogenic headaches, or neck in origin headaches).”
If anything, this highlights that there is more than one reason that you should go for a bra fitting. But as we said, there are a number of potential causes for headaches including:
- Tension or stress
- Consuming too much alcohol
- An infection such as a cold or flu
- An injury
- Fatigue or lack of sleep
- Dehydration
