The new Zoorassic World has JUST opened at Dublin Zoo, and we’re very excited.
Fun for all the family… the brand new home for reptiles past and present looks almost TOO good to be true. Zoorassic World offers an exciting experience for the whole family with the centre-piece being Stan – a lifesize replica fossil skeleton of a male adult Tyrannosaurus rex that lived 65 million years ago.
Other incredible sights on offer include a Velociraptor, Oviraptor, Anhanguera, an Archaeopteryx plus life-sized replicas of a Galapagos tortoise and a Komodo dragon.
Speaking about Zoorassic World, Leo Oosterweghel, Director of Dublin Zoo, said:
” The opening of Zoorassic World is another milestone on our journey to continue to develop Dublin Zoo into a world-class zoo and provide an excellent visitor experience. Our goal is to inspire and educate visitors on the fascinating world of reptiles.”
