Wedding guest, Cara Delevinge, broke royal protocol this morning.
While arriving at Princess Eugenie’s wedding, the British model opted to wear a top hat, trousers and a tailcoat as she walked towards St George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle this morning.
Besides the fact that the wedding invite requested ladies to wear a “day dress and hat” and Cara arrived in trousers – it appears that isn’t the only outfit rule the star broke.

According to etiquette experts who spoke with the Express, she also broke protocol with her decision to wear her hat while heading towards the church. Derbertts etiquette explains:
“A grey or black top hat is worn with morning dress for racing but at most other events it is carried rather than worn and may be dispensed with.”
However, aside from Cara, it appears like every other guest abided by the rules, arriving in beautiful headpieces and day dresses.
Chelsy Davy, ex of Prince Harry, was even pictured with one hand on her hat to ensure it stayed on her head and thankfully there weren’t any wardrobe malfunctions this time around.
