Penneys on Mary Street is basically a Disney Store now and it’s amazing

Melissa Carton

I had to do a double take.

I’m going on a girly trip away with some friends at the end of the month so I decided to pop into Penneys to grab a few essentials.

Of course being a mammy I couldn’t stop by Penneys without checking out the children’s section and oh my, the one in Mary Street is next level Disney amazing!

My kids love wandering around the Disney Store on Grafton Street and to be honest I do too.

It’s gorgeous and magical but I’m always worried they’ll start picking up things they want to buy because it can get real pricey, real quick.

Everyone deserves a little Disney magic in their life so if you want to surround yourself with all your favourite characters, but not have to worry about having to take out a bank loan then Mary Street Penneys, seriously trust me on this one.

Don’t worry it’s not all toys, let’s face it we could all probably open a toy shop with all the toys our kids get as gifts.

The Disney range covers all ages from tots to teens and everyone in between and the clothing range is so cute.

Can you say Minnie Mouse heaven?

My sister was a huge Minnie Mouse fan as a child (I was always more partial to Tinkerbell myself) and even now in her twenties she would pick up this rack and walk away with it.

Just in time for the release of the new live action version of Mulan is a whole Mulan section.

There are also Mulan t-shirts in the women’s section upstairs if you want to do some mother and child twinning.

Penneys is also stocking the coveted princess dresses and as a parent I’m here for it.

My daughter has around five of these in different princesses and I just know she’ll want replacements when she grows out of her current ones so it’s handy to know Penneys have the budget versions.

I didn’t take note of prices as there was just so much stuff but it’s Penneys so you know you’re sure of a bargain or two.
