She dealt with it very well.

Irish couples' wedding venue of the year has been revealed

Dressing for a wedding can be a pain in the ass, am I right mamas?

Black is boring, florals are done and everyone is wondering whether it’s too short or too booby or too tight.

It’s a tough old slog trying to find an outfit that you’re happy with and comfortable in.

“Is it the right colour?”, “Will it be “too much” for a wedding?” and the dreaded “Oh no, someone else has turned up in the exact same thing”.

With all that in mind, the below Instagram post might give you some positive vibes because Liz Krueger, a fitness professional, decided to wear what she wanted to a friend’s wedding.

Taking to Instagram, Liz shared the negative responses she received from other wedding guests about the dress she wore.

Sharing the below photo, she wrote:

“If only I knew that choosing this dress for a wedding on a 90-degree day meant so many women would be outrightly rude to me, and even come up behind me slap my ass as I’m standing alone.

As quote [sic] ” it was a dare from her friends, bc I was a target.” And then proceed to spill a full beer spilt down my arm. Just one of maaaaany acts of kindness of the night!

Yup. That happened. Good thing for thick skin, being able to laugh at things and not take it personally, and good friends/hubby by my side #adultsarebullystoo

Regardless, we had one heck of s fun night and no “grown” women’s comments/glares could bring me down as a wedding guest:)”

Liz, who explains that part of the reason for choosing the above outfit was because it was such a warm day in Minnesota, stepped in to attend the wedding as a plus-one for a friend whose date had cancelled last-minute.

Speaking to Yahoo! Style about the people who had viewed her dress as ‘too sexy’ for a wedding, she said:

“I respect their opinion. If they think it’s too sexy, they don’t have to wear it.

“I am very confident in my skin, as over the years I’ve had to overcome a lot of body issues, and I’m finally to a place where I enjoy wearing fun dresses. … I’m a kind, genuine person, who doesn’t do it for attention, and I am happily married to my best friend, who supports my choices”.
