If ever there was a facepalm moment.
Amir Khan made himself the laughing stock of last night’s episode of I’m A Celeb when he asked the stupidest question the show has ever seen.
The camp were sitting around discussing the new Prime Minister of the camp. Stanley and Toff took over residence of No. 10 Downing Creek as the Prime Minister and Deputy PM. Their new titles mean they are in charge of the camp and everyone must adhere to their rules.
Amir started to get inquisitive and asked Stanley what would happen if he was to leave the role and who would take over? The camp confirmed that Toff, the Deputy PM, would take over in Stanley’s absence.
He said, “Can I ask one question Prime Minister? If God forbid something happens to you, is it possible a woman could take over?”
To which Stanley replied, “Well a woman would take over because my deputy is a woman.”
Not fully understanding the answer, Amir pressed on asking the same question again, “What I’m trying to say is that when your guys time is up, can a woman become Prime Minister?” And also followed up with the most mortifying question of all, “Has there ever been a woman Prime Minister?”
The whole camp looked stunned at this point and weren’t quite sure what to say.
