Ashley Cain sadly lost his beloved daughter Azaylia in 2021
Over the weekend, Ashley Cain revealed he was set to become a dad for a second time.
The influencer was overjoyed to share his news, but also heartbroken as he suffered an unimaginable loss in 2021.
His daughter, Azaylia, sadly passed away from Leukemia when she was only eight months old.
Ashley Cain appeared on Good Morning Britain to open up about this new chapter of his life.
The dad said he does feel somewhat ‘guilty’ but stressed that every child is a blessing.
“I felt slightly guilty, and I felt slightly hurt for Azaylia and I didn’t really expect this to be the case.
“But very quickly like I do, I took the responsibility of being a father and I do believe that every child is a blessing,” he added.
Ashley Cain admitted that he was always destined to be a father and it’s something he will always cherish.
“I think I was meant to be a daddy and I love children.
“I love my family’s children but it’s hard every time to see them because I always think that’s what Azaylia would be doing now,” he said.
The dad confirmed he visited his daughter’s grave when he found out he was set to become a dad again.
He said this helped him see this as a positive thing because Azaylia was still part of it.
He told The Sun: “I believe that was a huge part that has allowed me to feel positive about it. I feel like she was the main person that I needed to speak to and to get this thing off my chest.”
