She loves Christmas trees, she says, and puts them all over the house including one in each of her grandchildren's rooms so that they can decorate them themselves.
In the interview, Carole spoke about raising her kids Kate, Pippa and James and how important she believes discipline to be with parenting.
"You can’t suddenly start teaching them about politeness at 13," she said.
"You have to do it from the start.”
She also went into what exactly goes down in the Middleton household on Christmas Day.
It starts with church followed by a walk, then back home for champagne and a smoked salmon lunch and then Christmas dinner in the evening.
"With young grandchildren, maybe we’ll move that forward and have it at lunchtime," she added.
