And it’s got the best name.
It’s fair to say we’ve all become a little more environmentally-friendly over the last few years.
And after months of training ourselves, we’re now proud to say that we always bring our own to-go mug to get coffee.
#Humblebrag.
Anyway, with that conquered, we think we’re ready to move on to the next challenge – straws.
You may have noticed that many cafés and bars are no longer giving out plastic straws, with most turning to paper instead.
However, if you’re looking for something a little more permanent, this metal straw could be the thing for you.
The FinalStraw (we know, genius!) is a metal, fold-up straw that’s BPA free, dishwasher safe and fits into a tidy box you can keep on your keys.

The mission of the company is to “reduce plastic straw use by giving people a convenient, collapsible, reusable alternative”.
“In doing so, we hope to make the public more aware of the devastating effects of plastic pollution and use that awareness to pressure restaurants to stop serving straws,” reads their Kickstarter page.
Yes, the product is not yet available to purchase but nearly 40,000 people have donated $1.9million to help make it a reality so we think it’s only a matter of time.
Great initiative if you’re looking for plastic free alternatives… fits on your key ring, comes with its own cleaner and sooo much better for the environment!!! Worth checking out it’s called finalstraw on https://t.co/KTmSDgPmZI ? https://t.co/HToyNGxcKL

Billions of plastic straws are used, none of them can be recycled whatsoever. Little things we humans do can have enormous consequences. https://t.co/PlaJ6cOB6w

I want one ? I hate using plastic straws because it’s just one unnecessary plastic material that gets swallowed by some poor marine animal! https://t.co/vw2plN7sh3

Man, at first I thought “why would I buy this?”
Then I realised we’ve basically killed the planet with plastic straws so this is an ethical purchase. https://t.co/Khmpy2VW1Z— Thrash Metal Essentials (@Kylio_Leaver) May 25, 2018
