“She threw a kid out the window!”
An Ohio mum has been arrested for throwing her child out of a second-story window.
37-year-old Candace Johnson threw her toddler out of the window just as police arrived on the scene.
The incident took place at her home in the 1300 block of Linwood Avenue Southwest in Canton on May 28
A bodycam captured the moment officers rescued the infant.
“She threw a kid out the window! Start a squad,” one called.
The young boy sobbed into the officer’s arms, but luckily he was okay. It is understood that the boy suffered from internal injuries after a follow-up exam.
It is believed the mum was trying to throw her other child, who is 5-years-old, out the window when officers reached their home.
The mum, who has anger management issues, was charged with child endangering and felonious assault on both children.
She has faced previous abuse and harassment charges, according to Cleveland 19.
Candace Johnson will face a judge in court today.
