It’s been a week of harrowing scenes at the Hungarian-Serbian border, but just when we thought it couldn’t get any worse, a truly shocking video has emerged, apparently showing a camerawoman purposely tripping a man carrying a small child.
The camerawoman, who worked for Hungarian news site N1TV, has since been dismissed after a German correspondent captured the cruel act on tape.
In the clip, a man is seen attempting to flee the Roszke refugee camp through an open field, desperately clinging to a terrified small boy. Inexplicably, the blonde camerawoman sticks out her leg in front of them, sending man and child tumbling to the ground as she continues filming.
The website who employed the camerawoman released the following statement:
‘Today, a N1TV colleague behaved unacceptably at the Roszke reception centre.
‘The cameraman’s employment was terminated with immediate effect.’
There are no words.
