A soldier who received a well-meaning but slightly sinister Valentine’s Day card from a child was so amused that he posted a picture of it online, where it quickly went viral.

Reddit user Ambrosias received the card from a school student as part of a project designed to boost troop morale on the most romantic day of the year.

Commenting on the rather unusual message inside, the soldier said: “As if being deployed for Valentine’s Day isn’t bad enough… Thanks Donovan.”
