‘My son’s preschool left him in the playground on his own’

Her son was left in the playground on his own.

One mum has been left feeling conflicted after an incident at her son’s school. As parents, we put so much faith in our children’s teachers. They play such a huge role in our children’s lives and shape them into the people they will become.

So when something goes wrong at school, it can feel so disheartening.

One mum recently opened up about an incident at her son’s school.

She explained that the head of his preschool called her this week and confirmed that her son was left alone in the playground.

She told Reddit: “They are investigating and will let me know more details when they have them but I don’t know how to feel right now.”

The mum said she loves his teacher but feels so uncertain about them now because of what happened to her son.

“I love his teacher. I don’t want him to have to get a new teacher. My son is quite possibly autistic and she is so good with him,” the mum explained.

“On the other hand, I am so pissed. I keep thinking about my poor boy all alone in the rain,” she said.

Not only was her little boy left alone, but he was also left out in the rain and was soaked.

“When I picked him up no one mentioned it. His clothes were changed and his old clothes were soaked like they were dunked in water.

“They have outside time regardless of the weather and it was raining. I don’t even know how long he was out there,” she shared.

Many parents said she should be relieved her son was okay, but the teacher was completely out of line.

One mum said: “You’re allowed to feel how you feel. The good news is your kid is ok. It shouldn’t have happened tho, but at least they’re owning it.”

“This happened to my friend’s child and she ended up in the parking lot by herself crying! It’s not okay at all. I’m so sorry,” another said.

What would you do in this situation?
