A Turkish fisherman is being hailed as a hero this weekend after his quick reflexes helped him halt a baby buggy as it hurtled down a hill.
The incident occurred in Bodrum, where the man had been standing on the street, speaking on his mobile phone when he spotted the buggy containing two-year-old Ali Ceyhan racing down a hill and into the road.
Acting in a split second, the man lurches for the stroller, grabbing it just in time before it reached a steep drop on the other side of the road.
The infant is thrown from his seat by the force, landing on the road, but is quickly scooped to safety by the man. Incredibly, little Ali is said to have only suffered minor scratches.
