Would you let your partner do THIS in bed? (54% are cool with it)

Katie Mythen-Lynch

The majority of Irish people wouldn’t kick their other half out of bed for eating crisps.

Personally I can’t think of anything worse than trying to relax in a sea of crisp crumbs, but the rest of the nation, it seems, is a little looser with their bedtime rules.

According to a Popchips survey, 54 per cent of people would have no problem with their lover scoffing fried bits of potato between the sheets.

When it comes to lunchtime however, we’re much more easily irked; according to the survey, eating with open mouths and sloppy eating are the top two most annoying things about eating with colleagues at lunchtime. In third, fourth and fifth place were loud chewing, eating smelly food and licking knives respectively.

Over half of office workers surveyed eat their lunches at their desks.
