Do you say it enough?

Do you say it enough?

Having a happy home is at the top of everyone’s wishlist and it seems that it may be easier to achieve than we thought.

A new study has found that there is one thing people can do to make their homes that much happier and it’s as simple as saying “I love you”.

Yes, new research on more than 1,000 families across the UK found that those who say those three special words at least once a day say it helps build a happy home.

The study conducted by Anglian Home Improvements found that the majority of families thought saying the simple phrase at least once a day was one of the most important things.

Following closely behind, however, were feeling able to talk about anything together and asking each other how their day went.

“The way we live in our homes has changed over the years, and a happy home is one that involves the children in all decisions and with all family members respecting each other’s privacy,” said an Anglian Home Improvements spokesperson of the findings.

“It’s great to see that sitting down for family dinners, cooking together and sharing chores are among the secrets to a happy family life.”

The survey also found that 45 percent of those asked say that Mum is the head of the house in comparison to a third who say Dad is in charge.
