We decided to take a look back on 20 famous faces who too welcomed children into the world through the help of surrogates.

1. Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick
The couple welcomed twins Marion and Tabitha in 2009 via surrogate. Trying to conceive naturally for a number of years previous, Parker knew they had to explore other options and therefore decided on getting help from a surrogate.
2. Jimmy Fallon and Nancy Juvonen
Daughters, Winnie and Frances were born in 2013 with the help of a surrogate. In an interview with Today at the time, Fallon discussed their reasons to keep the surrogacy private saying: We are not going to tell anybody, it would just be more fun if it’s private between me and my wife and then we will introduce her to everybody.”
3. Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban
In 2010, the couple welcomed their second child Faith via surrogate.”No words can adequately convey the incredible gratitude that we feel for everyone who was so supportive throughout this process, in particular our gestational carrier,” they said in a statement.
4. Giuliana and Bill Rancic
The couple welcomed son Duke in late 2012, describing their surrogate with love saying: “She’s so selflessly helping make our dream a reality.”
5. Tyra Banks and Erik Asla
Having revealed she was suffering from fertility issues in 2015, the couple decided to conceive via a surrogate and welcomed baby York Banks Asla into the world in 2016.
6. Elizabeth Banks and Max Handelman
Thanks to surrogacy, Elizabeth and her husband Max now have two children, Felix and Magnus. In a statement after baby number two Elizabeth discussed her experience with surrogacy saying: “This experience has exceeded all expectations, taught us a great deal about generosity and gratitude, and established a relationship that will last a lifetime.”
7. Neil Patrick Harris and David Burtka
Husbands Neil Patrick Harris and David Burtka used a surrogate to have their fraternal twins, Harper and Gideon born in 2010.
8. Jordana Brewster and Andrew Form
The Fast and Furious star welcomed her second child using a gestational surrogate. Their first child Julian was also born via surrogacy two years previous.
9. Denis and Kimberly Quaid
“God has definitely blessed us,” Denis Quaid said in a statement after a surrogate gave birth to his twins Thomas and Grace in November 2007.
10. Tom Ford and Richard Buckley
Designer Tom Ford and husband Richard Buckley welcomed their child through the help of surrogacy into the world in 2011. Saying to Time Out Hong Kong ahead of the arrival, “If I have a child, you won’t notice that I had a child. Maybe you’ll see it when it’s 18, but I will keep it out of the spotlight.”
