Kids got the sniffles? You need the Sneeve.

Katie Mythen-Lynch

It’s prime cough and cold season, so hopefully you’ve already taught your sniffling offspring to cough and sneeze into their elbows (not their hand!), just like the experts recommend.

But we’ll admit, it’s a little gross. Now, however, there’s a clever new invention to make it a little less so.

Enter the Sneeve, an absorbent, disposable little sleeve that catches the yucky stuff, keeps germs from spreading and prevents your child’s clothing from becoming a landing pad.

It’s designed for kids aged between three and eight who don’t always have the foresight to carry a tissue everywhere – you just pop it on over their clothes at the first sign of a cold and off they go.

Slightly stretchy, soft, comfortable and safe, the band boasts an antimicrobial (made from citric acid and silver) that kills 99.9 per cent of viruses and bacteria on contact.

With the average kid catching between seven and ten colds per year, The Sneeve could catch on. You can find it here
