Mum blasts ‘selfish’ friends who won’t buy toddler Marilyn Manson tickets

Keeley Ryan

A furious mum has lashed out at her “selfish” friends after they didn’t buy her toddler daughter Marilyn Manson tickets.

The American couple claimed that their two-year-old daughter, Ariel, was a huge fan of the controversial artist -and they were both very keen for her to see him live.

It even got to the point that Ariel’s dad started a GoFundMe page to raise the ticket money ($600USD).

Which is, of course, when things got a bit complicated.

Her dad wrote:

“At such a young age (2 yrs old) my daughter has developed her first feelings of being a fan.

“Her artist of choice Marilyn Manson. Shes always ask to listen to Marilyn Manson, even saying please.

“She sometimes hums along to the music; she has even said she wants to play the drums for Marilyn Manson.

“This has to be one of the cutest things especially because it comes from her mother’s love of Marilyn Manson.”

He went on to explain that Ariel apparently became a fan while in the womb, after she “attended her fisrt Marilyn Manson concert at Mystic Lake and she recognizes his voice and music and enjoys it.”

He added:

“My ask is to help us bring our daughter to the Marilyn Manson concert Jan 31st 2018 at the Myth. It’s an all age show with general admission and private VIP Booths.

“I don’t want to get general admission and risk the safety of my daughter but can’t afford to pay for 3 VIP tickets to keep her safe in a private booth.

“I would love for her to see him live so that when he isn’t touring as much once she’s older she will be able to hold on to that memory of seeing him live.”

And when the friends and family of the couple weren’t exactly willing to donate, Ariel’s mum took to a different social media platform.

A Reddit user, claiming to be a friend of the couple, shared a screenshot of a furious post that Ariel’s mum allegedly wrote on Facebook.

In the post, the mum fumes about her “f***ing selfish” friends  and that it was “frustrating” nobody had done anything on GoFundMe.

It read:

“I’m so grateful for the cash we have received for Ari to see Marilyn Manson, but to see that no one has done anything on GoFundMe is just frustrating.

“Why the f**k are you guys so f*****g selfish? Ariel’s comments get ‘likes’, people comment on how cute she is … but not one of you has made an effort to make this happen for her.

“This s**t isn’t even for me really, I’ve seen him [five times]. This s**t is for Arie.”
