This Children’s Puzzle Is Driving The Internet Crazy

HerFamily

Every so often a puzzle does the rounds that leaves the entire world scratching their heads.

The latest is a children’s maths question which asks people to work out the answer to the last sum based on what the previous ones have told them.

Thighler Perry tweets a snap of the brainteaser but people are coming up with different answers.

The moral of the story is really to pay attention to the finer details.

As you may have noticed, there is only half a coconut and one less banana in the final sum, meaning that the values have to be altered accordingly before you work it out.

This also explains why many believed that the answer was 16 (when it actually appears to be 14).

Did you work it out correctly?
