Trinity College is looking for three-year-olds and their dads for a new study

Would you like to take part?

Trinity College Dublin is on the lookout for dads and their three-year-olds to participate in a new study about play and development.

During the study taking place at the college’s campus in Dublin city centre, dads and their children will play games while being monitored by the Infant and Child Research Lab.

A couple of years ago my husband and our son took part in a similar research project at Trinity College and they found it to be a great hour and a half of bonding time.

At the time my husband was working a job which didn’t leave him a lot of free time to spend at home so he really enjoyed it. My little boy, on the other hand, was delighted with the certificate he received for the research students confirming that he had made a huge contribution to science.

The research lab currently requires children between 34 and 40 months of age and their dads to take part in their 90-minute study. If you or someone you know would be interested in taking part you can find out more by contacting the Infant and Child Research Lab at [email protected] or by Facebook message.
