If you use this popular nappy brand you'll want to see this trick
I never knew this!
If you use popular nappy brand Pampers, you may not know about this trick that will save you a lot of time when it comes to judging sizes.
Both of my children used Pampers and I had no idea that this is what the red marks are for.
Posted by Mom Life, Keeping It Real, this photo explains what these little red tabs are actually for.
Not just part of the nappy design they serve the purpose of helping you figure out if your child needs to move up a size.
If the nappy closures can't reach these red marks then it's time for your child to move to a bigger size.
Users of the Facebook page began to comment with their nappies and the indicators that other brands use.
According to mum Jeanna Peck, with Huggies, if you reach the orange zone the nappy has become too small for your child.
Aldi nappies even come with a detailed size up guide on their packaging to help you decide when they've become too snug.
Maybe I'm totally oblivious but I had no idea that these size indicators existed but I'm glad I do now!
I don't know how many times I've bought a pack of nappies in the size my child had been using only to find the tabs bursting open every time I tried to close them.
This little trick will save you a lot of time, and money, when it comes to choosing what size your child needs to keep them dry and comfortable.
