How Often Do You Change Your Bed Sheets?

HerFamily

It’s one of those household chores that we hate doing (mainly because we usually end up tangled up in the duvet and sweating profusely) but the fact is it has to done and regularly!

According to The Mirror, you should change your bed sheets on a weekly basis because your bed contains millions of dust mites and is a breeding ground for bacteria.

You should also pull the duvet back every day and open the bedroom window to allow the “release of moisture and humidity.”

If you dread the task of changing the bed, try out this nifty trick – demonstrated by Inhabitat editor Yuka Yoneda – which a reader shared with us a few weeks ago.

It’s called the ‘burrito’ technique and it will change your life.
