C’mon lads, she looks good but she doesn’t look 12.
Katie Holmes and Suri Cruise look very similar.
There are a lot of reasons for this similarity, the predominant one being that Katie gave birth to Suri as she is her mother and therefore, they share the same genes and are likely to look the same.
Hardly a shocking scenario.
However, one thing that is shocking is the sheer number of people who keep mistaking Katie for her daughter.
That girl is 12-years-old, like. C’mon.
The latest mistake comes in the form of an Instagram photo Katie shared recently. It shows her and her friend Mike Potter out and about enjoying some drinks.

This is also the photo that a load of people assumed was of Suri – because yeah that’s absolutely a picture of a pre-teen girl there, cool.
“Wow I thought that was Sui!” said one person. “I really thought this was Suri!” echoed someone else.
You are, unfortunately, both incredibly wrong because it isn’t.

Still though, this isn’t the first time that people have obsessed over how much the mother and daughter look like each other.
Earlier this year, Suri was spotted wearing a rather expressive floral dress and people were of the opinion that she looked so like Katie.
Which, yeah, she definitely does… but she doesn’t look almost 40.
