"Who are these people out there eating them whole? You're asking for death by Creme Egg. "You have to bite the top off, eat out the centre and then eat the shell on its own, obviously."
Khattack told the publication that the Creme Egg production line ends up taking up two floors of the factory in Bournville - and happens for 51 weeks out of the year.
He also cracked the mystery about the inside of the eggs (or at least, one of them).
Despite the insistence by fans of the sweets that the yellow and white part of the yolks taste differently, Khattack says that's not quite the case.
He explained:
"Some people think the white and yellow taste different, they don't, it's just psychological."
