Dreading the craziness of school mornings when the roll around, mums?

Oh, you are not alone.

Trying to get everyone dressed and fed and out the door in time, yikes, it makes us stressed even thinking about it.

There are many ways to be prepared for back to school morning, like getting outfits ready and prepared the night before and lining school bags up in the hallway. But what about breakfast? And I say this because I have personal experience with children eating a bowl of Cheerios one individual hoop at a time, taking so long that you just can feel your will to live slipping away slowly.

My solution to this desperate situation? Breakfast cookies.

Yup – cookies. For breakfast.

Because while these are sneakily all sorts of healthy, they are also so delish that any kid would be delighted to get their hands on them any time a day – especially first thing in the morning. And even better? On those mornings when you are really running behind, they can be just grabbed and eaten in the car. And if that’s not a parenting win, well, then I don’t know what is.
