A day at the beach is the perfect summer family activity apart from the fact that sand gets absolutely everywhere. You spend more time cleaning the sand off than you do having fun with your kids so anything that helps with this is worth a try. This isn't a new life hack but it's doing the rounds of the internet again in recent days and so, we thought it only fair to share with you mamas just in case you haven't heard of it before. As the video below shows and as seen on LifeHacker, all you need is baby powder. You apply the baby powder to the wet sand, rub it in and use a towel to remove. You should find that the sand comes away a lot easier thanks to the addition of baby powder. The baby powder soaks up moisture and apparently, cornstarch works just as well so you can use whatever you have to hand.
