The internet can’t get enough of this little girl’s superhero drawing

She's the hero everyone needs

“She’s only a hero to herself”

A mum shared a photo of her daughter’s drawing of an incredibly unique superhero – and the internet can’t get enough.

Amanda Mancino-Williams posted the picture of the hero, Janet, on Twitter on August 7.

She said:

“My child went to art day-camp today. One project was to make a new superhero. This is what my child made.”

Janet has green skin, a stylish green bob, wears a black dress, carries large scissors and a giant stick – and looks to be standing on some kind of surfboard.

Her daughter Luca captioned the picture:

“Janet cuts people in half with giant scissors. She’s a hero only to herself.”

And it looks like Janet has won over the internet, too.

Luca’s drawing of Janet, the green superhero who “cuts people in half with giant scissors”, has gone viral since her mum published it on August 7 – getting an impressive 16,000 retweets and more than 56,000 shares.

She’s inspired many others, too – with social media users sharing their own Janet inspired fan art.

Luca explained to Cosmopolitan that Janet’s special superhero powers include that she glows when she’s near a rude person and that she’s comfortable getting any job done by herself.

She also revealed that Janet hates “bullies and misogynists” – and that her only weakness is she has to stop to sharpen her stick.

She added:

“She could be anybody, but she’s not like anybody.

“She’s really strong, in her mind and her body, and she does her own thing.

“She doesn’t have time for jerks. And she doesn’t give warnings. Janet is my perfect hero.”
