Kylie Jenner says changing her son’s name was ‘the hardest thing I’ve ever done’

Kylie Jenner has confessed that she’s still not sure of her son’s name.

The youngest of the Kardashian-Jenner clan gave birth to her baby boy last year and after initially naming him Wolf decided to change it to Aire.

In an interview with WSJ. Magazine she admitted that she is still questioning whether or not she made the right choice in the end.

“That was the hardest thing that I’ve ever done in my life,” Kylie, told the outlet, “I’m still like, ‘Did I make the right decision?'”

The 26-year-old explained her belief that it was her pregnancy hormones that made her indecisive.

“The postpartum hit, and the hormones, and I couldn’t even make a decision or think straight,” she said.

“And it just destroyed me. I could not name him. And I was like, ‘I feel like a failure. I don’t have a name for my son.’ So it took me a while. And then the longer I waited, the harder it was to name him.”

Back in February of 2022, Kylie announced her little one’s name by writing “Wolf Webster” on Instagram, Webster being the last name of her ex and father of her children Travis Scott.

Just a month later she and Travis revealed that they had changed their minds, scrapping the name completely.

“FYI our son’s name isn’t Wolf anymore. We just really didn’t feel like it was him,” she wrote in an Instagram story. “Just wanted to share because I keep seeing Wolf everywhere.”

It wasn’t until this year that the makeup mogul told the world her son’s new name.

Sharing a mommy-son picture, she captioned it simply “Aire,” leading fans to believe this was the title the former couple settled on.

Today later obtained court documents that showed Travis and Kylie filed for the name change in March and it was approved in June.
