Nicole Kidman has revealed she would "love to" do a third season of Big Little Lies - although there isn't any plans for one (at least, not yet).
The actress was speaking about the HBO hit while promoting her new show,
The Undoing - which is also written by
Big Little Lies' creator David E. Kelley.
And while she admits that she wouldn't rule out a return to Monterey in the future, she said that everyone is too busy for it to happen at the moment.
"We would love to. But there are ideas that are further on down the track ... we've been so focused on
The Undoing," she said during a panel with the Television Critics Association [as per
In Style].
Zoe Kravitz is set to star in the D.C. Universe as Batwoman, as well as the Hulu adaptation of
High Fidelity. Laura Dern was recently nominated for an Oscar for her roles in
Little Women and
Marriage Story.

And both Kidman and Reese Witherspoon are busy and committed to other projects at the moment.
“Right now look at Laura, I don’t think we’d ever get Laura back. She’s working in so many different things right now," she said. "So, I think everyone’s working in incredibly good places, which is a lovely thing to have come out of that show. Hopefully we can all collide again at some point.”
But given that
Big Little Lies was meant to be a limited series, we're keeping our fingers crossed that there will be a return to Monterey at some point soon.
