4. Their future plans are genius
Six-year-olds spend A LOT of time pondering their future careers and world domination. You have to admire their self-belief in stating that when they grow up they’re going to play for Man Utd and be a chef and be in the army. Fair play.
5. They still want a cuddle

6. They’re broadening their social circle
Where just a few months ago you could cajole your six-year-old into a play date with the younger kid next door (or any visiting cousin), suddenly they have their own ideas about who they want to spend time with.
