Europe’s Longest Slide is Coming To A Spot Near You

Sive O'Brien

So, over the past week, you’ve done the beach, you’ve ticked all the boxes of the local fun-in-the-sun activities, and now you’re wondering what you’re going to do with the kids for eight weeks over Summer?

We think we’ve found it! (if you have kids aged 7+)

Wild Air Run is a fun run featuring 10 giant inflatable obstacles, including Europe’s longest inflatable slide, the first of its kind in Ireland. The race begins by tackling a staircase start-line, then you zig-zag through a maze, have fun in a giant ball pit, before taking your turn on Europe’s longest slide.

After all that hard work for the kids and big kids, there’s a  ‘Chill Zone’ for participants and spectators to relax, enjoy music, games, food and drink from local vendors.

First up, it’s the stunning Cabinteely Park grounds in Dublin from the July 1st-3rd. Then, Fota House, Cork from 8th -10th July, Malahide Castle, 22nd -24th July, and finally Marlay Park, 12th -17th August. Galway and Kilkenny and other locations are yet to be announced but keep an eye on the Wild Air Run website, wildairrun.com.
