‘I’m looking forward to my son walking and talking – it’s gonna be amazing’

His baby son, Bear, is only weeks old - but Liam Payne is already looking to the future.

The 23-year-old pop star has been heavily promoting his debut solo offering, Strip That Down, and is currently doing rounds of interviews.\ He was recently chatting with vlogger, Casper Lee, who asked the pop-star what he was most looking forward to in his life. "Obviously I have a lot of things going on with my son," answered Liam.

"I’m looking forward to when my son starts walking and talking - it’s gonna be the most amazing thing in the whole world." Mr Payne didn't forget about his career either, adding: "In terms of musical stuff, I’m looking forward to getting back on stage, I miss being on stage a lot. I’m hoping to go on tour if my music’s received well." The former One Direction star has been with Cheryl Tweedy for around 18 months. Despite their ten-year age difference, the pair welcomed Bear in March and seem to have expertly taken to parenthood. They first met on the set of X Factor back in 2008: when Cheryl was a judge and when Liam was just 14.
