Kerry Katona has said she gifted her daughter a box of condoms for her birthday.
The former singer and reality star said that she gave the 16-year-old a box of the barrier protection product because she’s a “prude” and won’t let her talk about boys.
Classic mother/daughter dynamic.
In her New! magazine column, Kerry wrote:
“Molly is the biggest prude. I’m not allowed to talk about boys or periods or anything like that.
“For her 16th birthday, I bought her a pack of condoms as a joke – she went mad, ha ha!”
We’d say she did, yeah.

16-year-old Molly currently lives here in Ireland with her grandparents, Brian McFadden’s parents.
Despite this, Kerry said that when her daughter’s home, the two of them are stuck together.
“We clash like anything, us two,” she said.
“She’s the only one who pushes my buttons, but equally, when she’s back at home, she won’t leave my side. No matter how old she is, she’ll always be my baby.”

Plus, condoms aren’t a bad present to buy – everybody should know the ins and outs of sex and protection at some stage in their lives.
Joke or not, at least she’ll be protected.
