Megan told the nursery director she was “disappointed” with how the situation had been handled. The nursery, however, took issue with the way she had responded, suggesting she was being “passive-aggressive” by continuing to send her kid to school with crisps. Megan said she does not consider Pringles unhealthy. Pringles are not considered a healthy snack as they are “loaded with artificial flavours, large amounts of sodium, and other synthetic additives that pose a variety of health hazards”.@peaveymegan #repost #momsoftiktok ♬ original sound
Megan went on to say the nursery never apologised and she was told it “no longer [had] a part-time spot’ for her son during the school’s summer program”. The mum then decided to remove her son from the nursery altogether. “It just felt so uncalled for and disrespectful,” she said. “I walked downstairs, and I checked my son out, and that’s that. We’re done there.”@peaveymegan Part one of pringle gate update #update #momsoftiktok #viral ♬ original sound
Commenters largely backed the mum, with one writing: “I’d tell them maybe they need to provide the snacks if they know what he needs.” Another wrote: “Ohhhhh he’d be going with a FULL can on the next day with “no thank you” written on the side in bigggg bold letters!”@peaveymegan Part II ~*~*~* #update #momsoftiktok ♬ original sound
