Mum’s horror when she finds children playing in an ‘avalanche of sh*t’ at home

Honestly, there is nothing worse.

Not finding your child has wet the bed, not discovering that all your whites are now pink because you put the wrong wash on, not forgetting to pick up milk at the shops. Nothing. Finding your children playing in an "avalanche of sh*t" is not something we'd wish on our worst enemies. It's also not something we'd really expected to hear about so graphically online and yet here we are, reading one mum's account and desperately trying to keep our lunch down. Mum On The Run blogger Laura Mezza took to Facebook recently to share her sh*t story. Mezza was taking some "me time" which, as a mum, basically means cleaning herself, when she noticed a peculiar smell. She emerged from the bathroom, all clean, to find that for some reason the nasty smell still hadn't left. She began to follow the smell through her home, and the journey was less than pleasant. Mezza said that she began wondering what the smell was... and what the strange brown streaks on her wall were too.

"As I walked further the streaks got bigger, and darker and handprints slapped like someone playing whack-a-mole on cocaine. Confident, aggressive and messy. "Was it fake tan? Was it my dark foundation that I use when I think I’m Snooki with my killer orange skin? What was it?"

Eventually, Mezza found out what the brown streaks were when she came across her children playing in an "avalanche of sh*t" from a nappy. So, so grim. Mezza went on:

"It was like adult poo. There was adult poo smeared everywhere. Poo that was being rubbed on each other and in each other’s mouths. "Sofia had taken off her nappy and decorated the house in her sinful waste... and mate, was she satisfied. And her brother, a willing accomplice to the potty party."

After some deep cleaning and a bit of vomiting, Mezza said she eventually got her house back to normal. Not the greatest thing to happen when you've got your gaf up for sale, but she seemed to handle it all very well in fairness to her.
