Stacey Solomon talks about being back on the soggy school run and it’s relatable

We’ve been there.

The school run is running at full steam in our house, we’re back into a routine for almost a month and there were multiple rainy mornings.

Having to bring my toddler to collect her older brother when it’s lashing rain is a particular challenge because I don’t want her to get soaked and she doesn’t want to wear her rain cover. So you know, we both have reasonable problems.

Mum and TV personality Stacey Solomon is well known for telling ‘mom life’ as it is and this week was no different.

The mum of three posted yesterday about being on the school run with baby Rex and it’s so relatable;

“Not letting the rain get us down. It was a wet school run today but I actually woke up excited to get Rex into his rain coat for the first time. Is that weird? I feel like I’ve been waiting ages to get him into his winter clothes and now I finally can.

“The boys love splashing all the way to school too. I’m sure the novelty will wear off eventually but they’re enjoying it so I’ll make the most while it lasts! Bring on the rain”.

As much as I don’t like the sogginess, I can totally get her excitement about wanting to put Rex in his winter clothes. When my daughter was smaller, I couldn’t wait to put her in her Christmas coat with her little elf hat.

We’re mammies, we just can’t help it! The cute factor fuels our madness.
