My daughter was born with a full head of hair, which everyone told me would fall out. They were wrong.
The Hair has grown from strength to strength; so much so that by the age of one, she already had two trips to the local salon for a much-needed trim – no chance I was attempting that myself.
I love looking for quick and cool hairstyles that I can try out on my very own Rapunzel. Check out these faves:
1. Ponies connected
Easy to do and super cool. Using a comb, divide the top section and secure with a bobble. Repeat again underneath. When all the ponies are in place, pull each one out a little to make the look more relaxed.

2. Top knot
No brushing or smoothing required for this one. When pulling hair up into a high ponytail, don’t pull all of it through on the last loop of the bobble. Don’t worry about lumps, bumps and straggly bits – the messier the better.

3. Cool pigtails
A cool take on a classic little girl’s hairstyle that never grows old. Allowing for soft bits that can be left down at the front, this is the perfect updo for toddlers who won’t sit still for long.

4. Side twist
Vintage inspired and super quick. Take a long section of hair near the ears, twist it around to gather it, then pin it to the side of the head above the ears. Repeat on other side if you wish (or if your toddler lets you).

5. Alice
On the days when there’s no sitting still but you want to make an effort, just pop on a hairband. If you’re really lucky, they might not pull it straight off their head…
