Little ones have dry eyes? A daily dose of Blephaclean will sort that right out

We love the summer but it’s always a killer for the eyes.

With increased pollen on the one hand and more playing outside in the dust and dirt on the other, the kids are frequently looking pretty red-eyed by the end of the day.

Then, of course, because their eyes are irritating, they rub them and it becomes a whole vicious circle.

What we needed to combat this was something easy that we could carry around and apply wherever and whenever we needed it. Preservatives were also a no-no because you know how sensitive children’s skin can be. You lightly touch it and there’s a rash there the next day.

So, finally, we found our product and we are absolutely loving it. They’re Blephaclean eyelid wipes and you can pick them up in your local pharmacy or opticians. They’re just small wipes that are designed to keep eyelids cleansed and clean, but they are great for dry eyes too.

They’re clinically proven to treat Blepharitis, an inflammation of the eyelids that occurs because of oil glands around the eyes getting clogged, and the wipes also  help maintain good daily eyelid hygiene.

The skin around your eyes is far more sensitive than the skin on the rest of your face because it’s thinner and it’s constantly moving when you blink or when you move your eyes around. This can cause stress on the skin, leading to dry and cracked skin where bacteria can breed.

So, yeah, definitely not what we want happening to our little one’s eyes (or our eyes, mind you!). The wipes work to remove dust, bacteria, pollen and discharge, keeping eyes clean and healthy. And, as we said, if it’s dry eyes your child suffers from, these are still a great option – 80 percent of people who experience issues with dry eyes will benefit from eyelid cleansing. Our kids hate eyedrops so these are a much better and quicker solution.

Blephaclean wipes are suitable for babies and children over three months old and they’re free from preservatives, parabens, perfumes, and soap – just what you need for that sensitive skin. And the wipes come in individually wrapped packets, so perfect for slipping into the baby bag when you’re on the go.

Eye health is so, so important, especially as your little one’s eyes are developing. If you want to learn more about it, Blephaclean creator TheaPamex has just launched a new website dedicated to all things eyes and eye care. It will teach you pretty much everything you need to know about our visual organs.
