Kloss’ husband announced the happy news on Instagram yesterday.
Supermodel Karlie Kloss became a mother yesterday, as she welcomed her first child with her husband Joshua Kushner.
Kushner, who is the founder of investment firm Thrive Capital, shared a glimpse of the newborn on his Instagram page. In the caption, he wrote “Welcome to the world.”

Karlie and Joshua began dating in 2012. The couple announced their engagement six years later. They got married in October 2018 and had another marriage ceremony in Wyoming in 2019.
Karlie announced her pregnancy last November. The star shared a short video of her stomach with her 9 million Instagram followers.
She captioned it “Good morning baby.”

Joshua is the brother of Jared Kushner – the husband of Ivanka Trump and Donald Trump’s son-in-law. Jared also served as the former president’s senior adviser.
The family’s political ties are at odds with Karlie’s own views. In the past, the model has made her support for the Democratic Party very clear.
In 2016, she endorsed Hilary Clinton in the presidential election. Two years later, she marched alongside Joshua in the March for Our Lives gun violence protest.
Kloss also identifies as a feminist, and said that her feminism was one of the reasons she stopped modelling for Victoria’s Secret.
More recently, Kloss supported President Joe Biden’s bid for the White House.
In January, Kloss shared her support for the new administration on Instagram.

Kloss’ history with her husband’s in-laws is complicated.
When Ivanka Trump called the rioters at the Capitol in January “patriotic”, Karlie said: “Accepting the results of a legitimate democratic election is patriotic. Refusing to do so and inciting violence is anti-American.”
Fans then urged Karlie to confront her relatives, to which the model simply said “I’ve tried.”
