The greatest British kid’s TV show of all time has been revealed

No surprises here, then.

Ah, kids TV.

There’s something soothing and oddly affirming about settling down to watch a bit of non-offensive, colourful, active-learning based programming on a weekday.

And also, you know, it helps if you’ve got children around too.

The past few decades has seen Irish telly produce some absolute blinders of kids TV (who could forget the iconic The Den?), and as much as we loathe to admit it, our British neighbours have also been churning out quality programming for the little ones to feast their eyes on.

And they’ve actually gone and voted on what the best one is so, you know, we’ll give them credit.

Indeed, the best British TV show for kids has been voted on by the British public and we can reveal that Blue Peter has been crowned the winner.

No surprises there, really.

Broadcasting on the BBC since the ’60s, Blue Peter taught children about arts and crafts, worldly events, and just generally being a good human being.

It’s an iconic show and nobody can doubt its brilliance.
