These honey fried bananas will sort out your sweet tooth in no-time (no chocolate needed)

Bananas are possibly the most amazing, versatile food there is.

I mean; not only is it delicious as it as an on-the-go snack, it also works perfectly on top of rye toast (YUM!), it thickens our smoothies to creamy perfection and also makes the yummiest, vegan (n)ice cream.

But never mind all the above, we have recently discovered our absolute favourite way to enjoy this fruit. And we’re willing to bet you will love it as much as we do too.

FRIED HONEY BANANAS

Ingredients

1 slightly under-ripened banana, sliced
1 tablespoon honey
Cinnamon
Olive oil or coconut oil

Instructions

Lightly drizzle olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Arrange banana slices in pan and cook for 1-2 minutes on each side.

Meanwhile, whisk together honey and 1 tablespoon of water. Remove pan from heat and pour honey mixture over banana.

Allow to cool and sprinkle with cinnamon.
