You might think that having a celebrity chef for a parent would mean you’d be spoiled when it comes to meal times, but not for Gino D’Acampo’s kids.
The TV chef, who is dad to Luciano (15) Rocco (12) and Mia, five, has revealed that he gives his kids anything they don’t finish at dinner for breakfast the next morning.
“I run a family kitchen and in my house we don’t have options. I never had options, why should they?,” he told Woman Magazine.
“If you cook something your children don’t like, don’t offer anything else and put it out again for breakfast.
“My kids are not allowed to be fussy eaters. The problem with fussy children is their stupid parents.”
Gino also admitted that his wife is more of a soft touch with their children then he is.
“My wife is softer than me but when I’m around there is no other way than mine.
“You can see my wife look at the children, saying with her eyes: ‘Don’t even think about it, he’s not going to bend.”
